Beckwith Brownstone
Beckwith Brownstone is a deposit of naturally occuring boulders that are loosened and extracted by backhoe. These naturally occuring boulders range in size from several tons to more than twenty tons. The stone is medium grained.
Relatively new on the market, this stone is a very good match as replacement stone for popular North American brownstones such as Portland Brownstone, and has been used as such in restoration projects at the Union League building in Philadelphia. It is currently being used as replacement material in the Halifax Armouries Restoration Project and can be seen on the Greater Moncton International Airport.
